FAQ
Quick answers about using Aussie TV.
What is Aussie TV?
Aussie TV is a free directory of links to official TV channels, radio stations and free movies from Australia and around the world.
Does Aussie TV stream TV itself?
Aussie TV doesn't host or copy anything. Radio stations with a public stream, official YouTube channels and public-domain films from the Internet Archive play right inside the app, straight from the broadcaster. Services that need a sign-in or only work in their own app (ABC iview, SBS On Demand, 7plus, 9Now, 10) are clearly marked ↗ and open on their official site. Nothing autoplays.
Is Aussie TV free?
Yes. Aussie TV is free to use. Some of the services it links to are free and ad-supported, such as Tubi, Plex and Pluto TV.
Are the links legal and official?
Yes. Aussie TV only lists official sources, and the links are rechecked about once a week.
Can I listen to radio on Aussie TV?
Yes. The Radio section lists more than 130 stations, linking to each station's official stream or website.
Where do the free movies come from?
The free movies section includes old public-domain films that link to the Internet Archive, plus free ad-supported movie services.
Is there a family-friendly mode?
Yes. Tap 👪 Family at the top to show family-friendly content only.
Can I save channels to watch later?
Yes. Tap ☆ on any card or channel page to save it to Saved. Your list stays on this phone only; no account is needed.
Will Aussie TV send me notifications?
No push alerts in this version. On each Aussie channel page you can add a reminder to your own phone calendar or Google Calendar.
How do I ask for a link to be changed or removed?
See the Credits and legal page, which explains how channel owners can request a change or removal.
